Position Summary:
Our client is seeking someone who will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing strategies for selected Medical / Dental categories in collaboration with company divisions to increase market share and generate incremental profitability.

• Develop a unified global sales and gross profit objective for the categories based upon the input and support of each business unit/division in North America.
• Develop category strategies to achieve sales and margin objectives, to increase market share in each geographic region and division.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships within the category to support global sourcing of products and efficient interface in supply chain areas.
• Develop and execute strategic elements to enhance company position in category including; web/internet approach, trade and industry affiliations and appropriate infrastructure components to support the business.
• Provide category leadership at division level to offer strategies (product selection, pricing, promotions, etc.), concepts and direction in building market and division specific programs that lead to attainment of category objectives.
• Lead project management for all private label new product development and management of product life cycle and SKU rationalization.

• B.S. in Business Marketing or similar fields.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management and Business Development.
• Strategic planning and business development in Healthcare industry.
• Category management, product development, business development, planning and analysis.
• Relative dental or glove products experience is highly preferred.
• Ability and Willingness to travel 20% – domestic and international.
